Episode description

As we grow older, we start talking about the maladies bothering us. We men, however, are also tough guys who tend to “forget” to make those appointments. Instead of taking the time out of our day, we struggle and fight through those maladies. Men, read this carefully: make that doctor’s appointment.  When I suddenly couldn’t read the nameplates of my CEO-guests at a workshop I hosted, I had a tiny breakdown and went to the eye doctor for the first time in six years. It turns out I have cataracts.

In this episode, I discuss mid- and later-life health and the importance of seeing your doctors regularly. I describe the series of doctor’s appointments that I recently went through. I also underscore the role of hormones and highlight why we need sustainable energy as middle- or later-aged entrepreneurs.
