Episode description

In my line of work and in because I care about having deep conversations with anyone and everyone, I run across people who admit to stress, anxiety and depression.  And it is heartbreaking.  The Coach and Helper in me wants to fix it for them.  I know I can’t.  And I know everyone has their own journey.  Doesn’t take away my desire.

I also know many who have been helped with the right combination of medicine.  Tremendously helped.  This podcast is not against meds in any way.  And… it is a discussion of what we can do to help ourselves.

Today’s episode gives a tiny, yet powerful, taste of Johann Hari’s groundbreaking book, “Lost Connections – Why You Are Depressed and How to Find Hope.”

PS: The areas of focus can transform anyone’s experience of life… check them out.

"It is only when we listen to our pain, that we can follow it back to source, and only there, when we can see it’s true causes, can we begin to overcome it.”   – Johann Hari
