Episode description

"When doing certain things Dopamine is released and your brain is expecting a reward. And when you come to associate a certain activity with pleasure, mere anticipation may be enough to just raise those dopamine levels."

In this episode of Master Your Mindset and Metabolism, I am sharing a live that I did as part of my 3 day series called "Hormones 101". This particular episode is day 2 where I talk about neurotransmitters.

In this episode I talk about all things neurotransmitters! Neurotransmitters are chemical messengers in the brain that control breathing, digestion, and heart. Even mood, motivation, and sleep quality.

Dopamine, Acetycholine, GABA, and Sertonin are the 4 major neurotransmitters discussed.

If you have cravings, trouble sleeping, and or lack of motivation, this episode is for you!

Some of the issues covered in the episode are:

Problem: Lack of motivation - could be a dopamine issue - no motivation could be affecting your behaviors/choices
  • Problem: Cravings - could be a serotonin issue

  • Problem: Sleep - could also be a serotonin issues

  • Problem: loss of memory - could be a acetylcholine issue

  • Problem: feeling all over the place GABA could be the issue
