Michele is known for her passion and knowledge in maternity and infant massage, as well as her commitment to excellence in massage therapy education. Michele has a diverse 19 years of experience working with childbearing women and new families.
Michele is the Program Supervisor for Longmont United Hospital’s Health Center of Integrative Therapies – one of the most successful community hospital-based Integrative Medicine programs celebrating its 15th year. One of its most innovative programs is the BirthPlace Massage Therapy Program which has provided thousands of inpatient maternity massages to new mothers since 1998.
Michele lives in Longmont, Colorado with her wonderful husband and two active teenage boys. She loves high altitude gardening, hikes in the mountains, yoga and the joys of watching her boys become great young men. She is a Colorado Registered Massage Therapist, a Certified Maternity Massage Therapist, a Certified Birth Doula with DONA International, a Certified Instructor of Infant Massage with Infant Massage-USA as well as a Certified Maya Abdominal Therapy practitioner.
