Episode description

This week's show is jam-packed with news and more climate talk. We begin with KnockLA's Los Angeles County Sheriffs Candidate forum and the preceding social media chaos followed by news from Ryan regarding his job, accessing a discussion on the journalism industry. As a reprieve, Ryan and his family went to Immersive Frida Kahlo in Hollywood on Sunday. He gives his review on what was a gorgeous experience looking back on the life of an amazing artist and an extraordinary human from history.

Finally, Ryan gives his review and endorsement of Kim Stanley Robinson's "The Ministry For the Future," a science fiction novel providing a convincing account on how the world can handle advancing climate catastrophe. Andrew was sold, we certainly hope you give it a read. The nightmare of our time needs proper addressing, well beyond the IPCC's recent report. (Editor's note: Ryan meant "uninhabitable" at 44:40.)
