All of our cohosts congregate at last to talk about the state of the show as COVID-19 cases are back on the rise with a transmissible sub variant in the news, instilled by online "Covid FOMO" and every host having experienced the virus firsthand. We start the show with some observations on the Fourth of July and the motherlode of fireworks going off across SoCal – where, in an age of rampant wildfires and climate apocalypse, it's safe to say we should reevaluate how patriotic we are about severe breathing problems from July 5 onwards. Finally, Drew and Ryan breakdown the congressional race in Sebastian's district between incumbent Adam Schiff and Democratic challenger Maebe A. Girl.

Boris Johnson also makes his one and only appearance as a Mars on Life cohost.
