Episode description

In this episode, we break down expectations, behavior, circumstances, self-awareness, change and how they all fit together. I give you 4 stories from my own life and how these topics play a part in each one so that you can hopefully relate it to your own life. This will hopefully help you with transitioning an elderly parent to a new living arrangement, help you communicate what you're asking your children to do to help around the house, help you understand the repeated conflict with your spouse and allow that conflict to build a deeper connection. I hope it will help you understand your own expectations and be able to adjust given a certain set of circumstances or communicate so that the other person's behavior can rise to meet your expectations. After all, nobody wants to intentionally disappoint others. Help them help you. If you have questions or need even more tips and tricks, feel free to email me at coaching@recognizingpotential.com.
