Episode description

It was Martin Luther who said, “If I profess with loudest voice and clearest exposition every portion of the truth of God except that little point which the world and the devil are at that moment attacking, I am not confessing Christ, however boldly I may be professing Christ.”

The battle over truth often finds itself in the political realm. Hence, Christians must engage.

I recently hosted Bob Burney Live on the Salem radio affiliate WRFD. My guest was Matt Keller, pastor of CrossPointe Church in Westerville, OH.

The topic we discussed was whether churches need to be relevant to the culture.

Some of the questions Christians often ask are:

  • Shouldn’t Christians just preach the gospel?
  • Do pastors need to be applying Scripture to the times in which we live or just point people to Jesus?

If you find this discussion valuable, please leave a review and share the podcast.
