Episode description

In this episode, we sit down for a chat with the ever-pleasant & effervescent David Drury.  David is the former Chief of Staff for The Wesleyan Church, the current purveyor of wisdom & strategy over at the DruGroup, and the future impactor of Global Partners’ “Global Marketplace Multipliers” initiative.  We recorded this convo roughly 24 hours after the adjournment of TWC’s 14th General Conference, so you’re gonna hear some “shop talk” in here, to be sure, but David found a great way of moving from the particular to the general in a way that (I believe) adds clarity to why this conversation matters for all of us, regardless of our interest in religious politics.

The article of David’s I’d love to particularly draw your attention to is this one: What Jesus Left BehindFor more background on the actual policy discussed here, please feel free to cross-reference with Episode Twenty-Five // Conversation with Dr JoAnne Lyon

Below is a graphic capture of the online poll I mentioned at the outset of this podcast recording.
