2 John is a short letter addressing a real life concern that the apostle John has for "the elect lady and her children". In this letter, we are reminded that truth and love are indivisible. Biblical love is founded upon truth; biblical truth will stimulate love. We are called to act in a way that is in accordance with true doctrine; in a way that is loving in the truest sense of the word.
