Peter briefly turns his attention toward the leadership of the church, urging elders to serve willingly, with a ready mind, and by setting the example of servanthood. He then turns back to the church as a whole and reminds us to submit to one another and to remain humble. As we humble ourselves, we realize this wonderful opportunity we have to cast our cares upon the One who can do all things, knowing that He cares for us.
