Episode description

With the 2024 Summer Olympics around the corner, I wanted to share a brief history about the Games. Of particular note, this Games will be the first time an equal amount of women and men have the opportunity to compete as athletes. It also marks 124 years since women were first allowed to participate at the Olympic Games and at the very same location in Paris. What a fantastic milestone for the International Olympic Committee! It has certainly come a long way since its founding by one Baron Pierre de Coubertin in 1894.
