Gone with the wind Part IV Chapter XXXIII
Scarlett arrived in Atlanta during reconstruction

Scarlett arrived in Atlanta during reconstruction
Scarlett figures out how to pay Tara’s taxes!
This was a harder one to read aloud….but the end had Ashley and Scarlett conversing alone for the first time in years!!! Had some detailed imagery of the war
There’s a new man in the house who wasn’t in the movie. Glad to read about him again.
Scarlett learning what happened to her neighbors
Lots of dialogue as Mr. Kennedy comes to Tara. Hope they all sounded different.
This is the part where she put Wade before herself for just a moment.
Apologies for my fumbles. Scarlett got a horse! Also, this scene was a bit different from the first time I read it. I remember reading that it was Wade’s sword that caused her to react that way. Interesting.
Scarlett is now in charge of Tara. Margaret Mitchell is really good at showing instead of telling.
Scarlett is back! Also, there are a few pauses because there was a word/slur I didn’t wish to say.
I couldn’t wait to get to this point! Melanie’s baby is here and Scarlett had emotions for Rhett she doesn’t understands
The Yankees are coming and Melanie is having her baby.
So many emotions!! Fear, sadness, joy, loneliness, love, confusion, lust, anger …. in one chapter.
Sherman is taking Atlanta
The end of part 2 and beginning of part 3. The war is about to end.
Ashley has come home. Do you notice his feelings for Scarlett? Are they the same as his feelings for Melanie?
Gettysburg has happened.
Rhett is disgraced yet again
Got a letter from Ashley and some Rhett shenanigans.
Gerald is back for a bit so get to hear a semi accent.
Scarlett goes to the ball and finally gets to dance again!!
Scarlett and Wade are in Atlanta!
Wade has been born!
This one was longer than the others, and my eyes were tired so sorry for a lot of the mistakes. But it’s the first time meeting Rhett!!!
Finally back to reading after my dog ate my book I’ve had for years. Let’s go with bad accents and mispronunciations!! Hope it’s fun though :)
Messed up a few words, but this was a shorter chapter.
The chapter about the history of Tara. Sorry about the words I said wrong. Didn’t realize there were so many I didn’t know how to say.
Tried to do the Irish Gerald O’Hara accent….that was a doozy.
A northerner girl reading gone with the wind. One of my favorite books because of how Scarlett matures throughout the story.
Final chapter of a Mainer trying to read Harry Potter in Scottish.
