On the first episode of season 2, we have Jen Munoz. A Mexican American professional soccer player from Montebello, California who at her young age has already left her mark in the sport and her fans hearts. She’s an all-star in her own right, playing for “El Mas Grande,” Club America in Mexico’s capital and getting called up to play for the Mexican National team. Jen is a strong advocate for woman empowerment — and standing up against women being objectified in sports. In May of this year she announced that she was retiring from football. Leaving one’s lifelong career to start a new journey is never an easy one. For Muñoz, she knew it was time to focus on other passions and start her next chapter.
