We've seen this happen to celebrities before, Karen Carpenter. There's a TikTok doing the rounds comparing her to Karen Carpenter, who's a pop star from the nineteen seventies who died of anarexia.
Yeah, she was thirty two. I think that's around the age that Ariana Grande is.
And the commentary is very much like, we need to do something, And my question about all of this is, what the fuck are we supposed to do? Right? Ariana Grande is a grown woman, right she has. Anyone who knows anything about Ariana Grande knows she's weathered quite a lot of emotional storms, Like she's been through a lot of shit, and she's also been famous since she was tiny, which we all know is always the most emotionally healthy start for a lots of people's through a lot of stuff.
She is an exceptional performer, like her voice is a once in a generation voice. I couldn't argue for a second that it isn't alarming to look at her. It is right, it really is. There's no she looks so frail. But my question about all this we've stood by before, what we can't stand by again is like, and what I know the internet is talking about nothing else an Ariana Grande's body. What what? What's the thing we're supposed to be doing.
