Tagore in his poems says that our destiny is predetermined, and therefore there is no need to take tension about the past and the future. We need to live in the present which then opens our lives to new adventures and new learnings everyday.
Tagore also prays to God in his poems to bring back the glory of India and give him courage and love for all of humanity.
Tagore also relates a story in which he teaches us not to get attached to the rituals to worship God as they are not important.
