Episode description

In this interview, Cheryl Lescom talks about the music scene of the '70s and '80s, being inspired by seeing Heart at the Coronet in Kitchener, and taking a 13 year-old Matt Weidinger to Bobby O'Brien's for a blues jam.

Matt Weidinger talks about all of the great mentors (including Cheryl) that the's had along the way, some of his earliest paid gigs (yes he was underage, and yes they were in bars), and what it takes to be a full-time professional musician in today's music industry.

This extended version of the interview includes a few extras that didn't make it into the broadcast!
