Episode description

Making Sense of Complexity features conversations with complexity science practitioners and philosophers on the deep and fascinating findings of complexity science. How do we make sense of the uncertain and seemingly incomprehensible world we live in? Hosted by George Gantz, the production is a collaboration with Spiral Inquiry, Planksip, Talk of Today, and Complexity Weekend, and is produced by True Spectrum Media.

Today our guest is Michaela Emch, a multi-talented communication and marketing specialist, translator, cultural mediator, biomimicry practitioner, safari guide, keen naturalist and biology enthusiast. In 2021 Michaela wrote the book “From Natures Mouth - The Handbook for Bio-infused Human Communication.”  Our conversation explores how the features of complex biological systems, including the human cell, provide important insights for how we communicate and how we organize complex human systems.
