Day 183 || Grownup Baby Knows No Better

Just like a baby’s cry - we may not initially know what need needs tending to but the more we learn about an individual the more we may understand about their cries and appropriately be able to decipher between them. That said, it’s not our job to pick up for everyone else. The only person you are responsible for is yourself. Being the caretaker for everyone around you is not only taxing, but impossible. Knowing that everyone just wants to be seen but it’s not your job to ensure they feel seen is a fine balance that takes practice. With time it’ll get easier. But if you’re ever irritated with someone or confused on why a grown up is behaving in the way that they are - it typically comes from a place of lack and fear. If they didn’t feel so unheard - maybe they wouldn’t be so loud about it.
