Episode description

Today we're talking about Vivien Burr's book: Social Constructionism. The key ideas are: language impacts our reality, our history + culture + social hierarchy impacts our language, and we should be critical of everything we consider "true" because of this socialization. We put everything in a box to better understand it, but sometimes it can be helpful to throw that box away + consider things outside of them.
