Episode description

Ready for some concrete skills to try out in your relationship to navigate hurt and conflict with ease? Varuna & William have lots for you.

We discuss how to make our partner feel heard instead of dismissed, going to couples therapy even when nothing is "wrong", how our assumptions can hurt our relationships, what it's like to navigate an interracial relationship and so much more!

William and Varuna met in 2017 while studying public health at Johns Hopkins. Varuna is an immigrant, south asian woman. She is a public health researcher, writer and activist. William is a psychiatry resident at Yale University with a plan to pursue the structural inequities in adolescent addiction. So, as you can imagine, they have LOTS of brilliant thoughts and wisdom to share with you.

And make sure to catch our "Work Its" at the end that you can discuss with your partner to work change into your relationship.
