On today’s show Matt sat down and spoke with Paralympian Peter Ryan. In 2010 Peter was diagnosed with Leber’s Hereditary Optic Neuropathy (LHON), a rare genetic disorder that left him with ten percent vision. During the show Peter spoke about how he first learned there was something wrong, his previous problems with alcohol, acceptance with becoming blind and how important his family was during this difficult period in his life.  Peter also talks about how he started cycling, competing in the Paralympics in Rio in 2016 with Sean Hahessy, racing around Ireland for charity, their hopes for Tokyo 2020 and more!
