Hello , magical Human , welcome back to Madison Mindset , the podcast . I'm outside trying to get some earthing time in . It's pretty cold , it's very chilly , there's a bit of a breeze , but we're doing it anyway , feet on the ground . It's good for you , good to be outside .

¶ One-on-One Coaching Opportunities
really really cool . And at the moment as well , I have the doors open for Beautiful Souls to come in and do one-on-one work with me .
So what I'm doing at the moment is getting on quite a few calls with those of you who listen to the podcast and people on Instagram and people who I teach in the studio , and we're chatting about what it may look like for you if you come and do one-on-one coaching with me . And the reason I have these calls they're free , right .
You book a call with me and we get to chat for half an hour and meet and suss things out . The reason I do that is because I want you to connect with me and I want me to connect with you .
So I want to understand if we have a vibe , if we have a good connection , if what you're looking for help with is something that I feel confident in supporting you with . ¶ Grief: An Echo of Deep Love
begin . Number one Grief . The message from grief is that you have loved . You have loved something or someone deeply and something has changed . There is a loss of some kind and that love , your relationship with that thing or that person , has changed in some way . It's a loss . You need to let yourself mourn .
You need to let yourself allow the emotion of grief to help you mend the relationship between what was with what is now . When you have love deeply and you lose something or something changes , there is a period of time where you need to settle into the new . Grief is the emotion that helps you mend that . Grief is incredibly raw .
It's very tender to feel and it can feel like a trauma . It's a very , very deep and difficult emotion for many people to feel . Biologically , it's our nervous system coming to terms with a new reality , so starting to settle into a new comfort zone , a new position . Spiritually , grief is a rite of passage .
It's an unraveling of the old and a creating of the new . All right , the underlying story of grief and what most of us feel is we don't want it to change , we don't want to have that loss , but life includes loss . You know loss and things changing is a normal part of life .
So we need to learn how to go through the rite of passage , even if we don't want to . And it's not often that we allow ourselves to walk through it until the grief starts to soften . But if you can picture your old situation with your new situation , grief is the middle ground . It's the rite of passage . We need to go through it . You've got to feel it .
Let the tears fall . This is not a weak emotion . It's an echo of something that you loved . It's an echo of an old story , an old way of being , an old relationship . It is something settling into the past and it's a big deal . Allow yourself to feel it . It's a beautiful emotion . It teaches you a lot .
It's not easy to feel at all , but give yourself the space it is necessary . Number two
¶ Hope: Remembering Light in Darkness
hope . When you're feeling hope , the message is even when all seems dark and difficult , there's a part of you that remembers the light , the joy , the peace . There's a deep part of you that knows that there's a light at the end of the tunnel . Hope activates dopamine and it keeps you focused on a future vision .
So , even if your current situation is really hard , hope comes through to keep you going , even if it's through a painful experience , even if it's through a difficult time , it is a force of belief . It is something is on the horizon and it's better than where I am now .
Hope is sometimes the reason you get out of bed in the morning knowing that something better is coming . Hope is not blind optimism . It's a quiet inner feeling of faith , of trust , of positivity , of fire and dedication that refuses to be beaten . This is a powerful thing and we need it . Allow hope into your life . It's a good thing .
If you're feeling it now , that's an amazing sign . Allow it to be your light . Three overwhelm
¶ Overwhelm: The Signal to Simplify
. The message from being overwhelmed is that you're doing too much . There's too much going on . You're thinking about too much . You're doing too much . You're saying too much . You're thinking too much . Overwhelm comes in when your system is flooded . There are too many tabs open . There's too much energy going in too many different directions .
You've got to call it all back . Overwhelm is the nervous system freezing in panic . How do I go in 50 directions at once ? It's literally a fight or flight response . If you're overwhelmed , you've got to go back to the simple Back it up , slow down and do one thing at a time .
Overwhelm is your sign and your body's request for the simple , for presence , for doing less . Your fourth emotion
¶ Awe: Connecting to Something Greater
awe . The message from awe is that there is something out there greater than all of us and you are a small part of it . Or as the opportunity to look at the sky and see how many stars there are , to have a look on Google Maps , zoom out until you can nearly see the whole universe .
You can see the whole earth and realize how small you are , how beautiful and how rare our life is . It puts things into perspective our life is . It puts things into perspective . It expands your consciousness and softens your ego and your attachment to this world .
Neurochemistry shows that this feeling or quietens mental chatter , releases feel-good chemicals and creates more connection between yourself and life . It's also a reminder that life is so mysterious , so sacred , so special , so fleeting . Enjoy it and let yourself be moved by it deeply . Five
¶ Motivation: Harnessing Your Inner Fire
motivation . The message behind motivation is that you found energy behind your purpose . You've found a force behind your purpose , behind your goal . Use it with intention . We all know that you can find motivation and very quickly it burns out . You've got to be careful not to let it burn out too hard . You've got to be careful not to dampen , burn out too hard .
You've got to be careful not to dampen it . You've got to use it , just right . Motivation is life force , prana rising . It is clarity meeting action . It's a part of you going . I'm ready , I'm ready to move . I'm ready to move my body . I'm ready , I'm ready to move . I'm ready to move my body . I'm ready to take action .
I'm ready to ask for what I need . I'm ready to take it . I'm ready to claim what I deserve . Now is the time . Pay attention to what fuels the motivation . This is an intrinsic fire . Right , you're burning solar plexus chakra , the inner flame . You've got to be mindful about what fuels it , what burns it out and what makes it turn into an overwhelming fire .
You've got to find what keeps the flame steady and be intentional with it . Otherwise it will burn out , or burn you out , or you'll find you struggle to light it again .
¶ Regret: The Teacher of Better Choices
Number six regret . The message behind regret is that you learnt something . Now you get to choose again . Choose differently next time . Regret is not here to punish you . It's a teacher . Do not allow yourself to experience regret and spend your time feeling guilty and regretful .
And oh , why did I do that I should have changed , should have made a different decision . There's no point spending time there . Regret is information about what you've done in the past that can guide you better in the future . If you can integrate it well and stop beating yourself up over it , it becomes wisdom .
It slows you down , it allows you to reflect and it invites you to act with more intention and more care next time you come into a similar situation . The pain of regret you can also see as love . It's a different form of love . It's love for what could have been . It's similar to grief .
Something could have happened differently , and next time I'm going to make it happen that way . Okay , regret is an amazing teacher . It can be a difficult one for us to feel , which is why we allow it to shut us down and we get stuck in it , but instead transform it into a teacher and you'll find you make better decisions in your future .
¶ Contentment: The Goal of Balance
Number seven contentment . Nothing is missing . You're exactly where you need to be . Contentment is quiet and it is part of the goal of yoga a still peaceful mind . It is balance , it is ease , it is centeredness , it is the breath , it is a opportunity to enjoy it , to allow it and to be with this beautiful feeling of ease .
This is the goal Practice being here . It is powerful . That's our seven and that's good , because it's starting to rain all over my laptop and mic so I better get out of the weather . But thank you so much for being here and for showing up and for listening to this episode . I hope it helps you .
