Following the journey of Adi, a young boy who, after being neglected by his parents, is mysteriously abducted by the vengeful spirit Wewe Gombel. In Wewe Gombel's otherworldly realm, Adi learns of her tragic backstory: once a kind woman named Laras, she was betrayed and ostracized by her husband and the village, ultimately transforming into the spirit who now seeks to protect neglected children. Although Wewe Gombel’s love for Adi is genuine, it is rooted in pain, and she is driven by a desire to shield him from the hurt she herself endured. As Adi grows close to Wewe Gombel, he begins to long for a reunion with his own parents, hoping for answers and a chance at reconciliation. The story explores themes of parental responsibility, the enduring effects of neglect, and the possibility of redemption, offering a poignant tale of healing, love, and the complexity of family bonds.
