Mac. We are seeing sequels thirty forty years in the making with some franchises that have you know, been a bit dormant over the past couple of decades. You know, some of them are being greenlit Beetlejuice, some of them are in discussion back to the Future, and others have dominated the past couple of years, like say Top Gun. But let me ask you which of these franchises, which of these movies it could just be a solo movie? Would you like to see a sequel too? So short answer here goose none,
don't do it. I love none of them. Boom do none of these. I'll throw some a couple at the end for ships and giggles, but I'm gonna defer here to the second half. I want to hear what you have to say. So I think one that I would love to see, but it might be a little too recent, and that would be James Gunn's Scooby Doo. Okay, well twenty years ago. Bring that whole cast back, have them all be a little bit older, and have it be
r rated like James Gunn wanted. If you're bringing back Sarah Michelle Geller and Linda Cardellini, I'm in hashtag my Shaggy from the eighties. I have a couple here, Roger Rabbit, Risky Business, Big Fast Times at Ridgemont High. I think you could do any of the Tom Cruise movies and it would That was my first thought to him, Like Cocktail, Yeah, you could do Stupid Valkyrie. Valkyrie needs a sequel. We've all been saying that.
And then from the nineties, I think Galaxy Quest. Obviously you've lost Alan Rickman. That lends itself perfectly to this day and age pop culture. Type of a sequel there, Edward scissor Hands, if we're along that beetlejuice line. And then Boogie Nights. Imagine Boogie Nights now with all the same people. Now make it a porno when porno is no longer fashionable in the nineties. All right, so again again none, none of these should be made.
But clueless Sam's gun to my head shot gun to my balls. Yeah, sort of in the same same thought as as Boogie show Girls, give me show Girls too. Bring back show Girls, bring back maybe not the same cast, but something like it. I'm in on a show, Jesse Spano, That's the main thing we need. Jesse Spano, the one that I might actually go see in the theater, the one that would get me out of this chair down the street to the theater. Goo, Spice World,

And I think it's a lot like rebooting a movie we did an episode maybe seven years ago now, and movies that we would like to see rebooted, and that is movies that have great premises but just didn't execute. Yeah, Like that's more like Spawn, for example, Spawn from what was that ever? So that that far ago seven that's more that ILK. But I guess you could throw it in here too, right, So you want to sequel the Spawn. I want to reboot. I want to

Let's just, you know, make it a little simpler. Cars. Cars, but if it's got
wheels, the title's gonna say cars. But motorcycles are on the board. Oh yeah, there's motorcycles. You know, do what you will. Land vehicles. Yeah, so if it flies, it's out, doesn't care well. It needs to be on the ground. At least fifty percent of the time. One needs to be on the ground. Vehicle. Yes, the land needs to be the the higher owner there. And we'll be drafting ten apiece in honor of Fast ten and uh, this will be pretty good.
We haven't done a fun draft in a while. Goo and I both discussed how fun, how much fun we had putting together on list. So we'll see how this, how this plays out? And now what are we drafting for? How do we decide who wins? This is really up to you, guys, because a couple of different things play in here. You know, it could be for a car show. It could be you are the fleet manager for a company. Maybe you're trying to pull off a heist. I don't know. Right, you decide what our group of cars are,
our fleet of cars are doing? So I guess without further ragou Mac will go ahead and flip a coin to figure out who's first. We're flipping here snake style, by the way, an American quarter, a twenty twenty American quarter with a fruit bat on the back. Here we go. What state is that? New Mexico? You made me? we're gonna talk. That's the working title. I'm gonna take I think the most une and that is a nineteen eighty one DeLorean DMC twelve. This is from Back to the Future flux capacitor, which makes time traveling possible when the vehicle reaches eighty eight miles per hour and Mac I kind of just you know, went right into your future and still your life. I'll tell you, du that's that's a good pick. I actually did have a number one on
my board. I thought you might lean the Ecto one from Ghostbusters. There also a great car. I was open to get the DeLorean at two. Quite honestly, to me, that's the consensus number one. Yes, he couldn't overthink it. It's super iconic. I in fact have it on my desk right here in Transformers form Behold my stuff. Maybe I should have taken the number one pick, but I'll get over it. I believe that it
is the car that is most synonymous with a property. Yeah, it's like, for example, there are other cars that are in properties that are famous, but they were also famous cars prior to the property. This movie made the Delirian what it is, wings, Wings Baby, great pick. All right, Goude, I've got back to backs here two and three, and I've got like a consensus top five here. So I'm hoping to get three
or four of these top five, I'm not really sure. And my strategy here is to sort of pick the more unique vehicles, the ones that are one of one don't have ones that are similar to other ones. So I'm gonna take the Ecto one from Ghostbusters in nineteen fifty nine. Cadillac Miller Meteor is not quite as iconic as the Delirian, but it's probably number two in terms of identifiable with a property. It's got a sweet logo on it, sweet white red paint scheme. It's just it's just a solid pick here.
Not as sexy as the Delirium, that's for sure, but I think an easy number two pick here. I like it. Yeah, I mean, when you're thinking of once again something that goes with a movie, the Ecto one really is it? For sure? And it was in Boston a couple of years ago. Oh, good point, gu And by the way, we're doing movies and television right, nothing else outside of that or is other things considered books? Okay, No, movies and television animated also counts.
All right? Okay, God, this might be a reach here, but I have to get this just so you don't take it. And it's for sure the most unique one on the list. I am taking the Blue Company stair car from Arrested Divide that was on my list. Yet this is amazing looking and it plays such a factor, such a funny factor in the show.
I just love the look of this thing. It's very impractical, but I'll tell you what, if you need to get like twelve feet off the ground, I'm gonna say, you know, impractical until you have to reach something high. This is just one that's more of a looker in the fleet. That's for sure, unique value. All right, Mac, I'll be staying in the eighties with my next pick. I have the next two picks
up here. I'll be going with Kit from night Rider and Artificial and Eligence equipped nineteen eighty two Pontiac Firebird trans Am and of course has the voice of mister Feeney. Mister Feeney did the voice to Kit. Yes, I didn't know that. That's a nice fun fact. The other other billy d Wow, how about that? Yeah, Kit, I'm not as high on this is. This is more like the car looks fine enough, but obviously you
get the talking aspect. Talking cars so it wasn't as high on my list, But I don't blame someone for having at this side the next one up here. You know, I just said artificial intelligence. How about a sentient being, mac give me a race car by the name of Lightning McQueen. Oh. I was thinking about maybe stealing him at like eight nine ten, But you went real early on Lightning McQueen. Okay, I get that.
Lightning McQueen's great, very notable, very recognizable. If we have ten year olds voting in the Twitter poll you just won, that's most of our voters, most of our listeners. Also, if you open that door, brains, Wow, that was super early. Goo. I just didn't want to miss out in Enlightening McQueen. I get it. I feel like that's a little bit of a reach. All right. So now it seems like we had the top top couple very similarly, but now we're we're deviating. Spear
off baby, all right. So I got back to backs here from my third and fourth Goo, I'm gonna take the MutS cuts fan from Dumb and Dumber. This is a nineteen eighty four four to Conoline aka the eighty four sheep Dog aka the shagg and wagon. This also very iconic and also very comfortable looking. Also, you know, it's nice to have a van in your fleet. I think mine is gonna maybe not perform if we were racing. I'm probably I've I've already lost. I think, oh, racing is
also a thing too. We can race our cars. But I think I got the cooler looking cars so far, that's for sure. Goo, I'm gonna take this one before you snipe me. You probably won't because this is just my dumb thing. I am gonna take Bumblebee from Transformers, the two seven Chevy Camaro version that we saw a Formers one in that movie. First of all, he's a fucking Transformer. The Chevy Camaros is pretty cool. And I also feel like playing into what we're talking about a little bit here.
Most of the other Transformers don't remain in car form too much Bumblebee, as we saw in that movie, and in the movie, Bumblebee played a car quite often. I was leaning more towards the Beatle version of it, but nothere the other Yeah, no, I'll take the cordette. I am now gonna jump to another slick looking car originally seen in Goldfinger, and that is the Aston Martin dB five James Bond, the most iconic of all the
Bond cars. It's later seen in Thunderball, Golden Eye, Tomorrow Never Dies, Casino Royale, Skyfall, Inspect. It's a real sleek looking car. If from having a car show, this is where it's at good. I don't consider myself a Bond boy, neither of you, so this seems like a reach for me. It's very handsome car. It's a handsome car.
I'll give you that. Not my style. Speaking of handsome cars, Mack, this next one I think might be the most practical, might be one of the best looking ones, and that is the Black Beauty from the Green Hornet. Oh, look at you. I don't know. So we might have the same idea here with batmobiles. We're waiting for one to take one so we could take the other. There's like four good batmobiles. To me,
there's a clear two. Wow, the Green Hornet. I did not expect Goo to go Green Hornet. I think that this is a lot better than the nineteen sixty six Batmobile. I think this is a better vehicle. Also, it's got better gadgets, it's got guns in the hood of its trunk there, it's got Cato driving you around. I don't know who's drafted for you today. This is a very ungoo like draft. So this is Schreisler Imperials modified into one car. So you just took what the green hornet?
What was the one right before it? James Bond at the Aston Martin. Let me put the Green Horne here in your list and try to keep track here, you keep it, gool. I'm gonna take my two preferred ones here from the toss Ups. Then I'm gonna take the Jurassic Park Explorer from the Jurassic Park. This is the ninety two Ford Explorer that some people thought might have been a jeep at first. These were four vehicles with the glass roof and the slick paint job as opposed for nothing else but for the
paint job. The paint job is unbelievable. It looks a glass roof, is awesome, practical off road vehicle, and also it does have an AI autopilot, so credit to me on that one. I thought hurricane season was over. And then goo, I'm gonna take the Dark Night from the Christopher Nolan Batman series, The Tumbler. Sorry, I'm meant to say that the tumbler. But I'm taking Batman, Batman's car from the Dark Night trilogy, the big thing with the tumbler here, Goo, it's sort of a two
for one. Yeah, Bath Podd motorcycle, which might be the coolest most motorcycle we've ever scene. I was gonna say that if I was gonna take one for practicality, slash for its multi purpose efficiency. That is the way to go. The tumbler is the way the gumbler can do. Sick can climb, I can't quite fly, can jump on roofs. Yeah, unbelievable jump on roofs. Okay, So I will cross that off my list. I will not move on. We are in round six. Question mark sticks
for you. Yep, all right, so you've already taken a van. I will now take a van, and I will be going with the Turtle Van, or party wagon as some might call it. Built by Donna Tello, this thing's gotten missiles, GPS, oil slicks, water cannon, sore cap throwers, and armor plating, plus plenty of room for pizza. That's a good pick. I'm not gonna lie. That's a good pick. I
was sort of expecting to take that earlier. Wasn't on my list thinking that you would take it early, and then I just sort of forgot about it as we've gotten along here. So good pick. The next one up here is gonna win in the draft for me, Mac. This is the most versatile of all the cars. Probably should have went number one, and that is the Magic school Bus. Wow, magic school bus? Not bad, not bad. You get some some miss physical or Yeah. I guess I
was gonna say, does miss Frizzle have the magic? Does a school bus? But I guess it's in the namesake. The Magic school Bus has the magic? So literally, whatever I can imagine, that's what we're gonna be doing. That's a nice, nice pick right there. I'm gonna fish my draft. But taking the last five batmobiles, Mac, if you had the magic school Bus, how many times would you just go into someone's panties? I think that's why people say they want the power of invisibility, right just
hanging out in locker rooms. There's no other reason I have it. Mac Again, Kid, that's a good pick. School Bus, very underrated show. No one talks about the Magic school Bus. do a whole montage to building the Grease Lightning. It's a nineteen forty eight four Deluxe convertible. It races the races in the La Rivers so greased Lightning and then Goo playing it up here making the chicks cream. I'm gonna take the pussy wagon from kill Bill Volume one. Okay, all right. This is the nineteen ninety seven Chevy twenty five hundred Silverado fleet side and on the back of it it says pussywagon. Okay, I want to add a motorcycle
to my fleet of cars. To my vehicles, I'll be going with dark winged Ducks motorcycle. This has some beautiful wings on the side of it, plus a sidecar, and it's purple. I mean, that's fair. Do you want to get dangerous or not? I don't hate that pick. I don't love it's that's not quite the pussywagon. But I got motorcycles or just one motorcycles. My next pick here, and we are getting deep. I suppose that I will now take my batmobile, and I will be taking the
very, very functional nineteen eighty nine Tim Burton batmobile. This is based off of a nineteen fifty six oldmobile rocket eighty eight. This is heavily modified, of course, because no car could ever do this to bat be vehicle mac. It's got bombs, missiles, fire, the penguin blows it up. There's a chance that if this this batmobile runs over particularly girthy stick at crumbles.
It doesn't look very durable. The least practical of all. What I love about how practical it is is in the first movie, he needs to shoot a grappling hook onto a pole just to get a nice sharp left turn. A turning radius is bad. He can't turn his head either. So all right, that's a handsome car, though, sozo, So you went? Where did you go? There? Darkwing duck, motorcycle and batmobile? Wow? So you got one pick left? I got one more pick final

I don't need the nineteen sixty six Batmobile, the nineteen fifty five Futara, the eighteam van was if I couldn't get the Turtle Van. That was my one b. The Mystery Machine, the Gadgetmobile, two other vans right there, Canyon Narrow from the Simpsons. Marge drives it, she drives people off the road episode fifteen of season
nine. Also the Homermobile from season three, also great. I'm debating on the Dragula, but I don't think I'm gonna that. Of course, was Grandpa Monthss car in The Monsters. It's a modified casket. Yeah, so it's it's spooky, it's what the people want. I'm gonna go with the nineteen seventy seven Pawniac trans Am from Smoky in the Bandit. Okay, all right, this is a generational car. This was the coolest car that anyone had ever seen in cinema for a very long time. Yeah, it's it's
an awesome car. Not quite as cool as the General League, but it's up there. Um, you can't go wrong with that. I also considered Goo if you want to do some more honorable mentions, of course, the striped Tomato from Starsky and Hutch. The seventy five four Grand Frino that's cool looking. Also from The Fashion Furious, they had a nineteen seventy Dodge Charger. Of course, dom Toretto drives that goo. I also considered the bus
from Speed. That's right the matter. If I couldn't have gotten the Magic school bus, that was my next bus. I also considered the Partridge Family bus. I had a whole well not I had three buses on here. Um, if I really ran out of things and somehow you took everything I could, I was gonna consider taking Michael Scott's PT Cruiser from the office. I also well, I would have taken the ac Bring. I also really enjoy the men in Black car. Oh true, that's a good one.
It's a little red button. You're all set, ye, something I can I thought you may take Peewee's red swin cruiser. I thought there's no motor on it. I'm not gonna pump my own legs. We've got kill Bill Volume one, the Kawasaki zz R two fifty, the cool looking yellow one should get the matching outfit. Also a Kawasaki from Top Gun. Oh yep, yep. Mac, I ask you for a Taylor Swift playlist, so goo. First of all, I don't like Taylor Swift, and this is because she's become so huge haters gonna hate, hate, hate, hate hate. I don't think she's a very good singer. Now, we've seen hundreds of successful people in the music industry that aren't
very good singers. She is a very good writer. I will fully admit that she reminds me of a modern day Bob Dylan. Take that for what it's worth. Oh my goodness, don't put that on tape. Early t Swift was the best t Swift when it was just Taylor and her guitar and she wasn't trying to be a star ever since we got to Read in twenty twelve, the album Read, which is probably debatably her worst album. That her reputation. That's when she transitioned to pop Taylor Swift, and that's where
she's lost me. Now, I still have liked songs since twenty twelve, I just don't really like her or her whole thing. So I'll jump back and give you something from every album here now two thousand and six is Taylor Swift. There's three that I really really like. Tear Drops on my guitar, should have said no, our song absolute classics. Great debut album. Two thousand and eight's Fearless. You Get Love Story, which is my favorite Taylor Swift song of all time. You Belong with Me also very good.
Twenty ten Speak Now back to December and mean quality songs bops as the kids make calm, and then we get the twenty twelve red. I don't really care for any song on the album We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together. It is probably the most notable one, the most listenable one for me. Nineteen eighty nine is actually her best album of the last decade, last ten
years. I still think it's too all over the place. What she lost going from like singer songwriter with her guitar to pop star is her albums don't run together anymore. They're all over the map. But nineteen eighty nine was pretty good. You Get Blank Space Style. I like those two a lot. The two of my least favorite songs of all time, shake It Off and bad Blood, are also on that album, so I don't care for
that and then go twenty seventeen reputation. This comes with her worst song, easily her worst song of all time, Look What You Made Me Do? I think this is her worst album by a good stroke as well. And then you have twenty nineteen's Lover Lover, the titular song I actually think is a pretty good song, but back to back misses for albums here and then
twenty twenty she did Folklore and Evermore. I don't think Folklore is very good, but it does have this song Betty on there that's an absolute jam ever more decent. Better than Folklore, you get Willow on there, and then you also get Nobody No Crime featuring him that's a very good song. And then do her most recent album, last year's twenty twenty two Midnights. I don't think it's a very good album that has that very annoying anti hero song
on it as well for both just sex see Babies. So that's that's my relationship with Taylor Swift. I would say I was not a big fan, but I was a fan in twenty ten. Now I am no longer a fan. Let me ask you this, though Macaw people are paying out the nose to see Taylor Swift. Is there a musical artist or performing band that you would pay out the nose to see? So the answer is probably no. I've sort of seen everyone I want to see at this point in my
life. I've always spent unconscious. I'm a big fan of live music. However, one person that's slipped through the cracks for me, go Kelly Clarkson. I would love to go see a Kelly Clarkson concert. She's got twenty years worth of hits. She's one of the greatest pop artists of all time. I don't know how much I would pay for it, but she's on
my list of need to see. And I'm also like, when I go to see concerts, I'm not gonna pay nineteen hundred dollars like these t Swift tickets, but I might pay two, three, four hundred dollars if it's an artist I really like in a really good seat, I'm not sitting far away anymore. And one that I missed last year when she came around, Olivia Rodrigo played a small venue here in Boston, and the fifty dollars general admission tickets were going for eight hundred dollars. I couldn't do that to myself.
Next time she comes around, I'll catch her though, not that you asked me, But I think that I would like to see Nirvana. That's not possible.
