#054 - DJ LS BUILDS A RADIO STATION

On this episode, we sit down with @itsdjls of @Vibe927Miami. LS explains how he first got involved in DJing through repairing equipment for DJs and radio stations in Miami. He tells us how his love for collecting and taking apart old equipment eventually transformed into a career in Broadcast and Electronics engineering. LS also breaks down how he was the first to modify a Pioneer DJ 909 mixer with a Serato SL 1 Box which would result in a full-fledged business where he was able to connect with DJ's in Miami and all around the world. He explains the entire process of how he was able to build Vibe 92.7 from scratch and the concept and inspiration behind the station. Lastly, we talk about the future of radio and streaming services.
