Guest: Dr. Paula Ugalde Figueroa graduated from the School of Medicine at the Federal University of Bahia in Salvador, BA, Brazil. With training in Brazil, the United States, and Canada, Dr. Ugalde has established herself as a research-driven thoracic surgeon. In 2021, she was appointed as a Director of the IASLC Board of Directors and continues to break barriers for many Latinas in oncology.
