As we heard at the top of the show, the Stellenbosch International Chamber Music Festival gets underway at Endler Hall in Stellenbosch tonight. Music ranges from classics like Beethoven and Strauss and Brahms to a host of more contemporary composers.
The featured composer this year is internationally acclaimed New York bas jacist New York based jazz pianist Kevin Harris, who's specially commissioned work Resonance, will receive its world premiere on Tuesday, the eighth of July. for all the concerts are at web Tickets. Signature Art Gallery presents an audio visual solo exhibition by artist Rufus, which opened yesterday and runs through until the twelfth of July. Next up, there's some activities and fun to be had at the Somerset Mall Smurf's Craft Village,
which is open until Sunday. Kids can enjoy guided workshops where they'll paint a Smurf, build a Smurf house, or create a colorful pop plant. The sessions run from ten until five, with hourly slots available and each craft is just fifty rand. And then at the Drama Factory, comedian Mark Lottering's critically acclaimed stand up show Mark Eugene Lottering is running. It's at the strand tomorrow at the Drama Factory. The show was nominated for an Aledi Award and has
already one a prestigious Kanna Theatre Award. Mark takes the audience on a personal journey through his life, from the time when his mother told him they were German Caribbeans to the moment he was inducted into the South African Comics Choice Hall of Fame. And then on Sunday, the Alma Cafe in Rosebank will showcase singer songwriter Jacques Morman, who's become synonymous with the great vocal legends of his generation and he's known for his role as the frontman of summer winning rock band Shadow Club, but he's taken on a new role with his solo work. The show is on Sunday night at six pm. Tickets are two hundred and twenty rand. At Quickeet and then Cafe Rue in Nudik is hosting a
performance by Uncle Wrightchous tonight from six o'clock. The band from Cape Town's Deep South blends gritty blues with the groovy rock rhythms of a swamp stomp experience like no other. Tickets are one hundred rand and are available on cicket
