Episode description

Welcome to Lunacy; where we discern the sacred from the insane and admit that whether we like it or not, we are all profoundly affected by the cycles of the moon.

In this episode I’m joined by Tony Lauria on a topic near and dear to both of our hearts and homes, the dangerous  Rise Gold mining venture in Grass Valley, CA. Mines have historically had negative impacts on local communities, harming the local waterways, environment, and communities, and this one is no different. My song, “Wells Run Dry” was written as a rallying call for us to take action and prevent the damage to our water, homes, and ecosystem. For more information about the mine, visit

Stick around at the end of the episode to see and or listen to my song about the mine, “Wells Run Dry”.

I’m Geoff Eido. Join me each week for interviews and insights intended to shine a light on the darkness, like the full moon in the forest.
