This week on LOTW Becky and Bevy discuss a case originating from their hometown - Calgary, AB. In 1999, the disappearance of Audrey Trudeau, a 44-year-old physiotherapist, left the community in shock. She was a woman known for her warm-hearted nature and dedication to her profession, so her sudden vanishing in February of that year bewildered her friends and family.
The police launched an extensive investigation, scouring Audrey's home and neighborhood for clues. Detectives interviewed those who knew her well, trying to piece together her last known movements. However, the mystery of her sudden disappearance only grew as the days turned into weeks with no sign of Audrey.
There were rumors and theories that swirled among the community, ranging from a voluntary disappearance to something far more sinister, and the uncertainty and fear weighed heavily on everyone as they hoped for her safe return. Luckily, someone would come forward with critical information that would help solve this case.
