Today on LOTW, Becky and Bevy discuss an older case called "The Curse" that still haunts the community of Amarillo Texas. Was it a gross miscarriage of justice or was the right person behind bars? It all started on a quiet Halloween night in 1981, the St. Francis Convent in Amarillo, Texas, was a sanctuary of peace and devotion. Sister Tadea Benz, a 76-year-old nun, went about her evening prayers, unaware of the darkness that would soon shatter the tranquility of her sacred home. As the night deepened, an unsettling silence fell over the convent, hinting at the sinister events that were about to unfold. The serene halls, once filled with the soft whispers of prayer, would soon echo with the chilling mystery that would haunt the community for years to come.
