Episode description

Coming to realization and acceptance of who you really are, doesn't mean you need to leave a religion. In fact, your true self can be hidden under numerous layers of social, cultural, familial, and collective conditioning. Ben Booth, a good friend of mine from the early age of 13, shares his story of coming to realize he'd be living a life that wasn't in line with his authentic self. Ben went through a lot of struggles, including separating with his wife and teenage sweetheart after 15 years, plus another short and very toxic marriage. Among these trials, Ben had the courage to do what more and more are realizing the need to do—to turn inward to the Self and shed the many egoic layers of identification to find himself.
