I grew so much as a spiritual being while putting together this podcast series. Believe it or not, I actually began to question what I was reading while I was studying the bible deeply in order to put out these videos. God let me know that there was more and that I needed to shift my spirituality and shift my circles. It was a very painful and lonely process, but now I am beginning to attract more like minded people with the theology of love, not dogma. This new chapter will continue to focus on...

I do a deep study of Hebrews Ch1-6. Some points include: 1) digesting the word in order to produce fruit. (double edged sword) 2) Being a servant in order to be a good leader 3) The positive connotation of weakness and meekness in the bible as opposed to in our culture I got a lot of cool insights out of these chapters and I hope you do as well. I read 1 Peter 4 and was very encouraged by it this weekend! I highly recommend reading the full chapter. This whole book has a lot of very practical theology. This book mentions love covering a multitude of sins and led me to talk about meekness. Meekness is very important during trying times, but we must look to scripture for the definition instead of the world's definition. Meek does not equal weak, it is actually quite the contrary. instagram: @loveoutloud595

I talk about these prophetic imageries in the OT book of Zechariah. Literally the whole bible can be summarized like this: "Stay connected to the source so that you can produce fruits of the spirit (love joy peace patience kindness goodness thankfulness gentleness self-control) and then spread light and love into the world. Therefore, be the hands and feet of Jesus. But we can't do that work and will be unproductive if we don't stay connected to the source. It is even more critical and can be ev...

Sometimes we can get so used to our habits that they rewire our brain. Let's take Anxiety for example. We can get so used to worrying, jumping to conclusions, ect that we do not realize that it is actually changing the structure of our brain! Now we are at a point that is seems we cannot break out of it. No matter what area you struggle with it is extremely difficult to break out of bad habits. Be encouraged and know that you are still loved. Accept the fact that this is going to take a lot of t...

This is a very encouraging verse about persevering in times of trouble. I read this in multiple translations and also include some commentary that I put on it. It also goes along with what my pastor talked about this morning, which is giving God access to EVERY area of your life and not letting the enemy put his foot in the door. I personally have some areas where I have let the enemy chill for far too long! And he can only do that if we welcome him (weather willingly or deceitfully on his part)...

Hey all! Buckle up and get ready. In our political and social climate today the church NEEDS to remember Titus 3. I do a short devo on this. It convicted me as much as it will probably convict others lol. At the end I also wrote a song (not professionally recorded, but may in the future). Make sure you like, share, send to friends, ect. This is really important during these trying times. Social Media: Instagram: @loveoutloud595 Facebook Community: https://www.facebook.com/Love-out-Loud-365092990...

Please excuse my morning voice everyone lol. I discuss how to remain a light during the time of darkness. I am not talking about a candle (cheap replacement), but I am talking about that holy spirit glow. At the end of the day when the winds are released candles will be blown out too. Let's strive to surrender to Christ so that darkness has nothing on us! Nobody can put out God's light and we have access to it here on earth. Let's tap in. instagram: @loveoutloud595 Youtube: https://www.youtube.c...

Christianity is funny. It seems to contradict sometimes, but in those seeming differences things also work together. Here I talk about how Christianity is both simple and hard at the same time. I will talk about what makes it simple and also five strategies to help when its hard: 1) Only speak life 2) learn to recognize the enemy 3) reading the word 4) prayer 5) worship 6) patience with yourself instagram: @loveoutloud595

Spiritual warfare is one of the most important things in our Christian walk, but it is probably one of the things that I hear talked about the least. In times of trials we must be humble and practice surrendering to God. We cannot do this on our own! Flesh cannot be victorious against a spirit, but we have access to power that can. In this video I will break down tips on how to make sure you keep connected to your power source and access that power. Video on how to grow closer to God and the imp...

I took a break from the Daniel series to talk about something that has been on my heart. We cannot tiptoe around issues going on in our world and how it is affecting the church. The truth is Christians have different political views! It is okay to have different views, but we must ask ourselves this: Are we looking to political factions as an example, or are we looking to God as an example? Daniel is a great example of putting your full faith in God, not fearing man, and being in the world while. It of the world. This is how we are to humbly serve and walk with God in the face of adversity. Instagram: @loveoutloud595 Faceboook Community: https://www.facebook.com/Love-out-Loud-365092990657000/

Babylonian captivity: King Nebuchadnezzar takes siege of Judah and recruits some of the brightest, most intellectual, and good looking Jews to serve him directly in his palace. These men are named Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah, whose names were changed to Belteshazzar, Shadrach, Meschach, and Abednego respectively. These man have a choice to make. They can either let their circumstance give them a bitter attitude, or they can use the situation to be a witness to the king and stand out d...

In this short, 3 chapter book I look at the prophecies of Joel and compare them to things that I am seeing in our generation. There is so much we can learn from this short little book! We see over and over again throughout scripture how God had to knock people on their behind by allowing other nations to attack or sending plagues. However, God's wrath relented consistently every single time when the people repented. God is a jealous God, but he is not full of rage. If he was surely he would not ...

I covered these verses back in February and have new insights. I encourage you all to listen to the old one also titled "Recognizing God's Voice" As believers we must spend time with God consistently so that we will recognize him. When we fail to recognize God is usually comes from a long term practice of hard hardheartedness or neglect of spending time with him. Near the end I summarize with four points and warning signs to watch so that you do not stop recognizing God when he speaks to you. in...

We strive to get better at surrendering to the Lord as believers, but how do we do that practically when we have an addiction. I specifically talk about sexual addictions since they are so common, but this can be applied to others as well. So, unclench your butt cheeks, uncross you eyes, and let's dive in lol Outline: 1) Know the difference between a temptation and a stronghold 2) Don't shame yourself. Accept the fact that you're a sexual being and divert (don't suppress) lustful thoughts 3) Rec...

After an emotionally draining and hectic couple of weeks I finally feel that I am in a place where I can post part 2 of my spiritual gifts devo, specifically focused on speaking in tongues. I recorded this a few weeks ago and split it into two parts. This talks about how love is a superior gift and it doesn't even matter if you practice your spiritual gifts and do not love others. I also dive into the more confusing and controversial parts of these chapters. instagram: @loveoutloud595 facebook: ...

I was going to do part two of spiritual gifts, but I am too emotionally drained by what is going on in our world. I did not plan this as you can tell by the awkward fidgeting lol, but I am just sharing my heart. God did give me some verses, but this is something that time will heal and should not make us feel okay right now. It is okay to be upset, angry, and want justice. Christianity is not sunshine and rainbows and I am not going to use God as a drug and try to get him to make me feel better ...

Sometimes traditions can blind us from what scripture actually says on a matter. Everybody has different spiritual gifts and all are valuable to the body of Christ. Rating spiritual gifts by importance is a religious spirit that comes from man, not God. God revealed to me that this is the same spirit that attempts to rate sins from greatest to least. Also, my lazy self finally made an intro lol Instagram: @loveoutloud595

I talk about the importance of walking with God so that he can show you exactly how to operate in your areas of gifting and passions. The enemy will try to use your area of gifting against you and try to stress you out. For moments like that remember Psalms 23 and run to God, your green pasture. As a church we have not been walking in the authority that we have through Christ. Because we have the spirit of God inside of us we are divine.
