Episode description

On August 2, 2015, Judy Malinowski was doused in gasoline and set on fire by her boyfriend Michael Slager. Miraculously, she survived and spent the new two years fighting for new laws to protect victims of abuse. While she ultimately succumbed to her injuries, she recorded testimony in her own murder trial first.   Judy's story is featured in a new documentary streaming on Paramount+ called "The Fire That Took Her."   Judy Malinowski Foundation - https://www.judysfoundation.org/   Sources: https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/judy-malinowski-documentary-fire-that-took-her-b2342165.html https://people.com/judy-malinowski-fire-took-her-exclusive-dying-wish-daughters-7505022 https://www.mamamia.com.au/judy-malinowski/ https://www.thedailybeast.com/judy-malinowski-was-burned-alive-and-testified-in-her-own-murder-trial https://people.com/mom-recounts-judy-malinowski-last-words-daughters-exclusive-7505209
