- Oya Maelstrom (#7) updates:
- fighting back an Alert in Huile (Complete!) and an Invasion in Gliese 9035 (84%). Secondary target will be the Invasion in HIP 7338.
- Oya will have 3 or 4 active invasions next cycle…estimate 2 weeks to containment.
- Cycle 6 Starts Thursday (1/5)
- Maelstrom Report:
- 51 Alerts (-30), 38 Invasions (-12), 337 Controlled (+84), 18 in Recovery (+8)
- What we’ve learned:
- Alert mechanic likely very similar to BGS expansion…limited range (likely about 10-15LY from a controlled system).
- Invasions in the last week on the timer frequently have no active ports and no AXCZs…making them a pain.
- System recovery is 4 weeks, fixed length.
- Systems where the Invasion is repelled in the first week, only have a 1-week recovery state.
