CMDR Phoenix Dfire and his family - wishing a speedy recovery from COVID

Squad Update:  a big focus change.

In Game News:

https://community.elitedangerous.com/

The empire repeats its calls for the Marlinist refugees to be deported back to imperial space and the feds continue to refuse.

Aisling Duval heals her cousin Hadrian with vitadyne nanomeds. And some federal systems are struggling to cope with all the political refugees.

The empire repeals new evidence which they say shows the NMLA terrorists had federal help, and may have a second bomb lab is federal space.

The Empire’s counter-terrorism operation in the LTT 1935 system has triggered armed resistance from the Federation. The feds don’t take this lightly and called in pilots federation support… A CG in LTT 1935!
Participants will gain military rank for the superpower they side with, based on the percentile they end the CG in; and in the case of a successful CG, the top 10 CMDRs will be elevated to the highest rank for that superpower.

Only a handful of prior open conflicts between the superpowers (not a lore expert, maybe I missed something, just basing off the Wiki page https://elite-dangerous.fandom.com/wiki/Federation):

  • 2324: Different era (e.g. FTL tech). Feds tried to invade after a nascent Empire destroyed sentient life in Achenar. Coined the “Great Battle of Liberation”. This was the last/only open conflict, and it was with a newly formed Empire.
  • 3303: Proxy war in the Pleiades to control Thargoid structures. Ended essentially in a stalemate. Conflict zones appeared, but in the end both sides withdrew forces from the Pleiades following the joint formation of Aegis. https://community.elitedangerous.com/en/galnet/uid/590347eee9c9d440e1380e2a
