Small Wonder: S2E14: Moving Up

Hey Everyone, Angela Bowen here, the host of She's A Small Wonder: A Small Wonder Podcast. Today, I covered S2E14: Moving Up, which aired on January 10, 1987. In this episode Ted is offered a new job in Massachusetts. I felt bad for Joan and Jamie, they really didn't want to move to Massachusetts, and once we meet the couple who run the company Ted will be joining, I feel even worse for them. Ted practically sells his sole to work for these people, who apparently want Jamie enrolled in military school (like it's up to them)this couple are a couple of racist pricks (which we learn when Reggie comes over to see Jamie). Ted finally comes to his senses and the conclusion that he can't work for these people as he sticks up for Reggie and his family. I mean these people insult their home, their food. They're down right a-holes. I think this couple is secretly running a cult and using their robotics business as a front.
