Welcome to Long Arm Stapler: A Podcast About Zines! This episode was recorded on December 2, 2017, one year after the Ghost Ship tragedy. I am joined by guest Sayuri Kimbell, an Oakland-based artist. With this episode, we wanted to honor our friend Ara Jo, who passed in the fire. We discuss accessibility of independent publishing, zine community and community healing, our memories of Ara and her legacy, and the upcoming East Bay Alternative Book and Zine Fest.
