Episode description

No. 25 UConn rallies from 14 down to defeat DePaul 72-61 at the XL Center! Solo Ball took over in the second half, scoring 14 of his 16 points after halftime, including a dominant stretch where he put up seven points in 44 seconds to give UConn the lead for good. Tarris Reed Jr. also added 16 points and 8 rebounds, while Jaylin Stewart scored 15 before exiting late with an injury.

DePaul (10-12, 1-10 Big East) came out strong, leading by as many as 14 in the first half behind Layden Blocker’s 18 points and CJ Gunn’s 14, but the Huskies outscored DePaul 43-24 in the second half to avoid an upset. UConn’s ball movement was key, recording 11 assists on 12 second-half baskets, and the Huskies were perfect from the free-throw line (14-14) to seal the win.

With the victory, UConn improves to 15-6 (7-3 Big East) and stays in the thick of the conference race. Up next, they face a huge road test at No. 9 Marquette on Saturday. Can the Huskies keep the momentum going? Drop your thoughts in the comments! 👇🔵⚪ #UConn #BigEast #CollegeBasketball
