The Colorado Avalanche and Arizona Coyotes got together twice over the weekend, once at each others house, and it was two different play dates. The Avs had to fight back from giving up a two goal lead to take the game into overtime, then eventually a shoot out to take game one, while game two went the much smoother route of a 5-0 no brainer.
Darcy Kuemper nabbed his first shutout of the season in facing his old team, and Nathan MacKinnon is starting to take games over which is making every time he touches the puck, edge of your seat excitement again.
