'Escape from Dundalk Gaol' tells the unbelievable true story about the greatest jailbreak in Europe, way back in 1922 in our small town. The escape was led by Francis Aiken, IRA leader & future minister. The programme features interviews with historians & those with direct links to the jailbreak as well as dramatic reconstruction of the events themselves. The documentary was made by the multi-award winning producer, Conor McGinnity.
