Episode description

Today’s guest is Michael Boover. Michael is a Catholic worker who has worked as a teacher and chaplain and lives in Worcester, Massachusetts. In the early 1970s, he co-founded the Mustard Seed Catholic Worker House in Worcester. Michael did his graduate studies at Assumption College and Andover Newton seminary and taught at Worcester State and Anna Maria College. After working as a chaplain at Worcester Recover Center and Hospital for a number of years, he has recently retired and is working on organizing a celebration to mark the fifty year anniversary of the Mustard Seed Catholic Worker. Michael describes himself as a “peasant scholar” and a “fool for Christ.”
