Victoria shares, "Little did I know that in the upcoming year, my life-long dreams would become a reality, namely that I would become a mother to a miraculous little girl. Nevertheless, both my daughter and I would fight the battle of our lives, a true test of love and survival. This would all be at the hand of an alcoholic psychopath who took both me and my unborn daughter to death’s door on more than one occasion. Everything I am would be stolen from me, my self-esteem, my pride, my body and very nearly my ability to even live and breathe. All would soon be in mortal danger, all because of a man. The real question is who kicked first?"
