The first message in an expository sermon series through the Old Testament book of Isaiah.
God keeps His promises. This is important to remember. While all of us are limited in keeping our word, God is unlimited. In Matthew 24, Jesus makes the promise to HIs followers that He will return again one day to set up His glorious Kingdom. This is a promise that must be trusted and never ignored.
In the book of 1 Peter, we learn that God has chosen His followers and placed them as a royal priesthood. But, what does that actually mean? In this message, Pastor Chris Rieber looks at the significance of the individual priesthood of the believer.
In the fourth message on the foundations of our faith, Pastor Derek discusses the miracle of salvation, why it's vitally important, what it actually does, where it comes from, and how you can have it.
Sin is the universal problem. Grace is the universal answer. In this message, Pastor Chris Rieber of Living Hope Fellowship looks at how sin cannot be overlooked, justified, or minimized. We'll also look at how God, in His grace, chooses to deal with our sin and gives us liberty through Jesus.
In the second part of the foundations series, Pastor Chris Rieber of Living Hope Fellowship looks at the vital foundation of our belief in the Bible as being the Words of God given to men to record as our guide for all faith and practice.
What happens when you take a let off a chair or table? It falls down. What happens when you remove a cornerstone from a building? It gets really unstable. In the same way, the Christian faith rests on some critical foundations -- some vital teachings that, if you take them away, the whole thing just seems to fall apart. In this message, we begin a series on the foundations of the Christian faith by first looking at the Christian belief in the Triune God and the special role the Holy Spirit plays...
Insecurity... We all try to hide it, but we've all got it. And, Insecurity can be a poison that keeps us from fully embracing God's plan for our lives. In Exodus 3 & 4, Pastor Derek looks at how Moses almost let his insecurity keep him from leading Israel out of Egypt. We see just how much we are like Moses and just how God speaks truth to our insecurity.
We live in a culture which is terrified of getting old. Anti-aging products are a huge industry, and everyone is trying to find the secret to staying youthful. But, what if your later years are your greater years? In Psalm 92, and the lives of many of the people we see God use in Scripture we learn that age is not something to avoid, but to embrace for the glory of God.
Pastor Chris Rieber of Living Hope Fellowship in Lexington, KY, continues a sermon series called, "I Wish I Knew What I Didn't Know" by looking at what Ephesians 4 says about what unity really looks like in the body of Christ.
What is your view of the church? In today's culture, the idea of church takes on many different personas. In Ephesians 3, however, the Apostle Paul describes the church as a family that is close-knit and operates with the best interest of the Father and the family in mind. In this message Pastor Chris Rieber of Living Hope Fellowship in Lexington, KY, looks at 4 aspects of a healthy family.
New Years brings a renewed sense of energy, vision, and commitment. In the book of Colossians, Paul prayed continually for the brothers and sisters that they would thrive spiritually. In this message, we look at what it looks like to have the best year ever with Christ.
Jesus is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. The Wise Men travelled from the east to meet the one who was born King of the Jews. So, they went to the palace, but did not find him there. Often times, we have our own ideas of the kind of King Jesus should be. Thankfully, He doesn't settle for being the King we want, but rather the King we need.
Christians are familiar with the Nativity scene. They are reproduced in hundreds of different ways. Whether it's Precious Moments, Willow Tree, or an inflatable yard art version, Nativity scenes all have the same players. There's Mary and Joseph and Baby Jesus in the manger, along with shepherds and wise men. In the book Revelation, we are given a very different Nativity scene which includes a seven headed red dragon set to destroy the birth of Christ. In this message, Pastor Derek Holmes looks ...
What does Revelation 3 have to do with Christmas? In His letter to the church in Laodicea, Jesus says he is standing on the outside, knocking and waiting to to be let in. Sound familiar? Sounds a lot like the time when Mary and Joseph were on the outside looking in for a place for Jesus to be born. In this message, Pastor Derek Holmes looks at the importance of not being lukewarm and giving Jesus the first place in the church and your heart.
When people think Christmas, they don't often think Revelation. But, to truly understand the glory of the first Advent of Christ, you must view it through the lens of the 2nd Advent. In this message, we look at the view of Jesus, the Warrior King who stands among the churches in Revelation 1 to grasp that the child in the manger was not just a helpless baby, but the Savior who is a conquering King.
A genuine faith is one which is living and active. In this closing message of a two part miniseries on faith, Pastor Derek Holmes looks at how a genuine faith firmly planted should produce fruit which glorifies Christ.

Guest Speaker Steve Moore guides us through how to relate with the Word of God.
In the fourth and final part of Isaiah's prayer or revival, we come to a desperate and broken plea for a merciful return of God's presence.
In part 3 of Isaiah's prayer for revival, we see that after the prophet made a desperate INVITATION for God to come down to His people once again, and seeing the faithful EXPECTATION that God does not forget or abandon His people, we see Isaiah shift to a mode of PREPARATION for God to move.
What do you expect from God? We know He's great. We know He's big. We believe He's all powerful. Then, why do we doubt Him so much? In Isaiah's prayer for revival in Isaiah 64, we see that God responds when people faithfully expect God to do so.
Revival... It's a word which conjures up mental pictures and memories for most. But, what is revival? What does it really look like? How do we make it happen? In the book of Isaiah, the prophet invites God to come down and invade his people with HIs presence. Revival begins when we invite God in.
What is life really all about? This is one of the greatest questions humanity faces. No one wants to live and die without purpose or meaning or significance. But, what is the greatest pursuit of life? Is it Money, fame, power, sex? In this message, we look at the words of the prophet Jeremiah to see what Pursuing God will do to a life.
In this closing message of the Romans series, Pastor Derek Holmes points out the glorious nature of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Every great movie has a great team to make it happen. Most of the hard work comes from people who never make it on the screen except for the end credits. In the closing chapter of Romans, Paul gives almost a closing credits of people in the church at Rome who were a great supporting cast of the Gospel.
The Gospel is a catalyst that changes our eternal destination, but also the trajectory of our lives. In this passage, Paul gets real personal about the Gospel and how it has given him purpose, direction and vision. From this passage, we see 5 questions to determine whether or not we are living on mission.
"One Size Fits All." Is there any greater lie in the English language? We live in a world of diverse shapes and sizes and types. There is no way to create something that fits everyone the same! Except for the Gospel. The Gospel is a one size fits all Gospel. In this message, Pastor Derek Holmes looks at how Paul informs the Roman church that Jesus is the Savior of the world, not just the Jews or the Gentiles. He is creating a new nation that is founded in Him alone.
Unity. The church is commanded to pursue it. But, what does Unity really look like? More often than not, we assume that unity exists when everyone is on board about all the issues. When everyone thinks the same. But, an absence of disagreement, does not describe Unity. In this message, Pastor Derek Holmes looks at Romans 14 to see how unity was being disrupted in the church because everyone was looking for uniformity of thought rather than unity in Christ.
