In this episode, we’re talking with the incredible Jean Chatzky, CEO of HerMoney.com. We dive deep in how to help our young adult children make smart financial decisions as they venture off on their own.

She gives tips for instilling financial literacy and budgeting starting from when they are in high school and throughout college and how parents can continue to

support them as they spread their wings into adulthood.

There is one thing all of our kids should start doing TODAY to have financial security later in life (and it’s her one big regret that she didn’t do this sooner).

We then talk about what we as empty nesters should be doing with our “raise” when the kids move out and how to be prepared financially for retirement.
