RICK ALLEN (Def Leppard) & LAUREN MONROE

NEW YEAR INSPIRATION:
Known as the "Thunder God", Rick Allen of Def Leppard, ranks as one of the top 7 drummers of ALL-TIME and YET is the only one that's an AMPUTEE having lost his left arm due to a car wreck in 1984. Rick joined the band in 1978 on his 15th birthday. A year later on his 16th birthday Def Leppard opened for AC/DC and the band's reputation exploded, yet his fame and that of the band, came mostly after his wreck.

Rick and his wife, Lauren, tell the incredible story of Rick's journey back and how they help wounded warriors, teenage cancer patients, domestic violence and those struggling with loss overcome adversity through their non-profit, Raven Drum Foundation.
