Thomas Hill - Recovering Leadership

My guest is Thomas Hill, who serves as CEO of Kimray, a leading manufacturer of valves and controls for oil and gas production. His grandfather, Garman Kimmell, founded the company in 1948. Today it employs more than 500 people at its production facility in Oklahoma City and store locations throughout the United States. Having grown up in the company, Thomas has worked in virtually every department—giving him an intimate knowledge of the people and processes from start to finish.

Thomas is also a self-described addict leader who hit rock bottom and had to find a new way to live and work. He’s the author of the book Recovering Leadership: Musings of an Addict Leader, in which he shares his own story of success, failure, and lessons learned in recovery.
