From the bright lights and big city of Las Vegas, Nevada, I have the opportunity to have Nick Best on my radio show whose a remarkable force in the world of Strongman competition. Known affectionately as the "grandfather" of the sport, Nick's wisdom and experience gracefully transcend his years. With a remarkable past as a World Powerlifting Champion and a record-breaker in over 50 instances, no wonder why Nick has become a household name. Even in the face of a relentless battle against Renal Cell Carcinoma Cancer, Nick triumphed and emerged from surgery stronger than ever.
