Dating from 1909, this grand hotel famous for its role in 'The Shining' is 4 miles from Rocky Mountain National Park.
Traditional rooms in the main building and an adjacent lodge have flat-screens, free Wi-Fi and iPod docks. Some add Jacuzzis and courtyard or mountain views; others are allegedly haunted. The 1-to 3-bedroom condos feature air-conditioning, whirlpool tubs and fireplaces; a luxe cottage has a private deck.
