Episode description

It’s been a while since we chatted about artificial intelligence. For well over a year now, we’ve seen both the positives and negatives of this rapidly growing technology. But where do we stand in mid-2024? This week, Roop and Sam talk about where we’ve been, where we’re going, and how we use AI ourselves—and possibly how you might use it for your B2B brand.

We also cover new players in the game, from Apple to Google. AI is more than just ChatGPT, and it’s more than just a tool to do your homework, write your emails, or give you ideas for Christmas presents.

Artificial intelligence continues to be a game-changer when used correctly, saving valuable time and resources in nearly every corner of the working world.

So join us as we jump back into the world of AI!

00:00:00:00 - 00:00:06:04

Brenda

Welcome to another episode of Little Talks, your weekly dose of marketing news and insights from Littlefield Agency.

00:00:14:21 - 00:00:33:04

Sam

welcome to another episode of Little Talks with Littlefield Agency. I am Sam Littlefield. With me is my boy, Roop. Roop, there he is, man, it's good to be back. I was, I'm fresh off a nice vacation. What I'd call a disconnecting vacation. I checked email in the morning, which I guess it's not totally disconnected, making sure there's no fires.

00:00:33:06 - 00:00:37:18

Sam

And then I was literally on the beach and in a swimming pool and chasing around toddlers.

00:00:37:20 - 00:00:38:18

Roop

Are there any fires?

00:00:38:20 - 00:00:50:22

Sam

There were no fires. I'm not going on word of the night. Yeah, right. No, you guys did great. And, no, it's just it was a very nice recharge before the hustle and bustle of back to school.

00:00:51:00 - 00:00:54:11

Roop

Speaking of back to school, for starters.

00:00:54:13 - 00:01:14:10

Sam

Matt, Matt Littlefield started school. It was so cute, y'all. He, he's been like. So he's been with we have a nanny at home and he has been just dying to go to what he calls big boy school. probably since May. And when we go to church on Sundays. He likes this big boy school because it's connected the church.

00:01:14:10 - 00:01:31:14

Sam

And he's just so excited. He started camp in the summer. It was just, you know, 2 or 3 days a week is in July. But like, now, he's, like, fully integrated. He wears a uniform form, he goes to a Catholic school and he was just so pumped yesterday. The youth just comes running out of our garage and he's screaming and he's so excited.

00:01:31:16 - 00:01:44:20

Sam

And we drop off and I was worried about drop off. Right. Like thinking, okay, like he's so excited. But then we get to the door like, is he going to cry? Is he gonna say, Mommy and Daddy, please don't leave. Literally gave us both hugs, kissed his mom and beeline into the classroom. Yeah.

00:01:44:22 - 00:01:50:16

Roop

So what? You're at the end of the day. He's joined a fraternity.

00:01:50:18 - 00:02:05:14

Sam

Before school when his kid I. So I actually picked him up yesterday. I wanted to pick him up on his first day of school. So get over there. They dismiss. They've got all the kids perfectly lined up on a line in the gym. You go in there and you're saying, yeah, yeah, I say once early, gotta go. Teachers though.

00:02:05:16 - 00:02:27:02

Sam

And Matt, Matt's crisscross applesauce and he goes, daddy, I had the best day. Let's get out of here. And I was like, that's awesome, buddy. So we went, got a tree and I dropped off at home, came back to work. But I don't know, it was kind of an emotional day in the sense of like, I feel like he really grew up yesterday and he showed us all of his quote unquote homework in his folder, and it was just really cool.

00:02:27:02 - 00:02:37:12

Sam

Like, we're literally sitting on the I took a picture. We're all on the ground as a family in the laundry room, and he's showing us, this is my prayer book. And this is, this is my calendar. It was awesome.

00:02:37:14 - 00:02:39:04

Roop

It's a calendar.

00:02:39:06 - 00:02:57:19

Sam

He just knows it's a calendar. But he kept on talking about the line, so I was like, okay, you got you got something going on. So anyway, it was a holy moment yesterday, I felt bad for his little sister. The that they've never been apart. They're always together. She was pissed. But she's doing better this morning. So we got Matt.

00:02:57:19 - 00:03:20:16

Sam

Matt in school? we got some cool, just shout outs. today, H.E. Williams. We were in Missouri last week. We going back to Missouri this week on Thursday. it'll be great. we have Mike from grasshopper here tomorrow for our full, kind of HubSpot Mike session day, which is wonderful. We have Sean from ditch, which, wrapping up season one of Beyond the Moon.

00:03:20:22 - 00:03:24:08

Sam

Be on the lookout. Those episodes are going to go live here, probably. Brandon, when.

00:03:24:10 - 00:03:26:02

Roop

We think it'll be in September.

00:03:26:04 - 00:03:27:19

Sam

Yeah, that makes sense.

00:03:27:21 - 00:03:31:01

Roop

Most I'd say 90% of the first two episodes, and it's good.

00:03:31:03 - 00:03:46:16

Sam

And Brandon, you've been editing away. Yeah, there's I've seen a lot of a lot of fresh content up on the big screen. They'd rather be editing. Yeah, especially with our prelim conversation for Brandon. anyway, got a lot of good stuff. Like I said, I always call it the hustle and bustle of back to school. We do have a question for our listeners.

00:03:46:21 - 00:03:52:10

Sam

What is your least favorite month? Because Claude and Roop hate August and I love August.

00:03:52:12 - 00:03:54:07

Roop

So hot. Love August.

00:03:54:10 - 00:03:58:20

Sam

See, I think it's back to school, starting in the rhythm. The holidays are coming. Thoughts?

00:03:58:22 - 00:04:04:03

Claudia

That's school. And school.

00:04:04:05 - 00:04:21:13

Sam

Okay. Do say one Claudia, one Sam zero I hate January. I think January sucks. It's after the holidays. It's cold. It's a long month. All 31 days. And then you go in February. It's short month in March. Spring. And then you get you going in for summer.

00:04:21:13 - 00:04:23:14

Claudia

So it's perfect.

00:04:23:16 - 00:04:26:17

Sam

And Claude and Matt, that's your birthday. Do.

00:04:26:19 - 00:04:35:14

Roop

Okay. Can I say something else about August that you just mentioned that I've always it's always bothered me. Oh, I said growing up, I always associate it back to school. September.

00:04:35:16 - 00:04:37:01

Sam

Were you an after Labor Day kid?

00:04:37:03 - 00:04:45:05

Roop

I think I might have been, So like, it was always September, back to school leaves and all this kind of stuff. And then somewhere they screwed it up into August.

00:04:45:09 - 00:04:47:22

Sam

I was always August. Claude was always August.

00:04:48:00 - 00:04:51:01

Roop

Always gets me when I go back to school in August. September?

00:04:51:05 - 00:05:00:05

Sam

Yeah. At one point we were like August 6th or seventh then. Yeah, I was not I was not happy with that. You remember that? And then they pushed it back to mid August, which, which is much better.

00:05:00:05 - 00:05:04:16

Roop

But to give him like with the fall away from the spring break. Yeah.

00:05:04:18 - 00:05:12:06

Sam

All the and then there's some like noon Fridays and stuff. Anyway, I would love to hear from you on what your least favorite month is while we're at it. What's our favorite month? Claude.

00:05:12:08 - 00:05:13:22

Claudia

March or October?

00:05:14:01 - 00:05:15:12

Roop

Okay, October.

00:05:15:14 - 00:05:25:13

Sam

Okay, I love November RIP that mine was December, but, you're gearing up for the holidays or is that crisp weather? See, sometimes there's like 85, 90 degree days in early October, and I don't like that.

00:05:25:15 - 00:05:28:08

Claudia

That's true. But it's like a dry.

00:05:34:01 - 00:05:38:08

Sam

All right. To October November Brandon. Favorite month.

00:05:38:10 - 00:05:39:01

Roop

He said yes.

00:05:39:03 - 00:05:52:06

Sam

He just said yes Brandon does speak by the way. Yeah he does. So we've got a nice topic today. thank you John Marsh from Viridian Homes in Wisconsin.

00:05:52:08 - 00:05:53:04

Roop

Thanks for your patience.

00:05:53:04 - 00:06:15:11

Sam

He turned he turned this in like a month ago. Yeah. Yeah, maybe six weeks ago. Johnny Marsh is a beloved friend of the agency. he is an avid listener and usually the first person to listen to our podcast to get notified via HubSpot that John is on our, on said podcast page. John wanted to specifically hear he was fresh off a conference and kind of the overall state of artificial intelligence.

00:06:15:13 - 00:06:32:19

Sam

How are we using it? we're not going to make really any predictions in the future today, but just kind of, here's things we're going to focus on Apple and Google, and then we're going to get into just kind of how the agency is using it. So topic number one, cloud. And the only topic I keep saying topic number one I'm so sorry guys.

00:06:32:21 - 00:06:40:16

Sam

So we call it the AI boom of 2023, right. It's all anybody could talk about primarily ChatGPT.

00:06:40:18 - 00:06:41:08

Roop

Yeah. That led the.

00:06:41:08 - 00:06:58:14

Sam

Way that that led the way that paved the way in the let's call it the average human. The way that they were using ChatGPT is write me a thousand word paper. And, with this sort of tone and blah, blah, blah, blah, all this stuff. Right? Write me a poll. Write me a birthday poem for Claude on March 19th.

00:06:58:19 - 00:07:00:14

Roop

Write it right in that suit.

00:07:00:14 - 00:07:23:21

Sam

Yeah. Right. Right. Yeah. Create a resume for me. Very, very, very. What we call simple prompts. Well, so much has happened. You see that? Got it. This is pretty cool. Just drop my pen and I got it. but what we're saying here is AI is maturing. It's moving beyond the hype. There's so many companies besides ChatGPT that have implemented artificial intelligence within their own platforms, streamlining things for us.

00:07:23:21 - 00:07:32:22

Sam

So, Root's going to talk kind of an Apple Google overview, and then we're just going to give you just some high level things of how our agency on a day to day uses AI.

00:07:32:22 - 00:07:43:14

Roop

Yeah. And but I just want to say this too, like so ChatGPT left away and then all of a sudden everybody else has a which is kind of weird, right? Yeah.

00:07:43:16 - 00:07:45:02

Sam

It was a fifth time.

00:07:45:02 - 00:07:46:16

Roop

And just not releasing it or like it.

00:07:46:16 - 00:07:50:09

Sam

Was a fast follow is a is an extremely fast follow.

00:07:50:10 - 00:08:09:07

Roop

And some folks would argue, you know, a company like Apple and we've talked about this a lot of Alexa. But Amazon like a lot of things have a version of what you might consider. Yep. Kind of already there. So in some cases, like Apple's is laying a true AI, concept on top of something that exists.

00:08:09:07 - 00:08:16:19

Roop

So let's talk about Apple. Okay. this has been a couple of months ago, and I think we're about a month or two away from this OS.

00:08:16:21 - 00:08:18:14

Sam

I think about a month. It's usually September.

00:08:18:16 - 00:08:26:01

Roop

People in the beta playing with it right now. I started getting into the beta programs about 5 or 6 years ago. Yeah.

00:08:26:06 - 00:08:29:02

Sam

It's not your cup of t anymore You're beyond it.

00:08:29:04 - 00:08:51:19

Roop

Oh wait. Okay. Now the AI for Apple, which is called I believe it's just called Apple Eyes. Very original name. they're, they're kind of taking the same stance with that. they've taken with everything else like email and your web browsing and things like that, and they're focusing on privacy and data security and AI, which we've talked a lot about.

00:08:51:19 - 00:09:11:11

Roop

So when you're using AI for your business, yeah, you're using AI. Sometimes you might need to dump what's called sensitive information in there to get data back out. Like if you've got a spreadsheet of, we don't do this, let's say you had a spreadsheet of like, profits or client list or something like that, and you just needed to get something back out of it.

00:09:11:13 - 00:09:14:05

Roop

Once you've had an AI, there's a concept, I.

00:09:14:05 - 00:09:16:20

Sam

Think that it was out there. Yeah, yeah, for sure.

00:09:16:22 - 00:09:25:13

Roop

For other purposes. so ChatGPT has put some guardrails, around this where you can have, like a business account that we use.

00:09:25:15 - 00:09:27:03

Sam

20, 20 bucks a month.

00:09:27:05 - 00:09:27:21

Roop

It's worth.

00:09:27:21 - 00:09:27:23

Sam

It.

00:09:28:02 - 00:09:51:14

Roop

Yeah. Apple is also kind of concerned about that as well. I don't know enough into how they're walking. They're doing that, but they claim they are they're and models will run directly in devices like iPhones and Macs. So you don't really have to, like, think about it. They're trying to bake it in more. So like right now, if I want to go to check on my phone, I have to go find the app and open it up and I can read it to.

00:09:51:16 - 00:10:12:05

Roop

Yeah, whatever. I can do it, not read. I read what it tells me. but for for for Apple, they're laying it on Google as well, but trying to lay on top of existing products. Yes. An enhancement as part of, I believe, your email capabilities. So like if you have a bunch of unread emails, you might be able to use Apple's AI to say, hey, summarize these for me.

00:10:12:05 - 00:10:21:01

Roop

Which ones do I need to reply to which are urgent things like that? Yep. So why does that affect your everyday use like the user base? And that's really what Apple's kind of more focused on.

00:10:21:05 - 00:10:37:18

Sam

And you look at like the. So it's interesting that you mention the user. Apple has always been about a very simplified UX right. Very easy. And now what is this next. Especially with the state of AI. and Google. The email is a is a fantastic example. I look at when you search something in Google, right.

00:10:37:18 - 00:10:44:13

Sam

You still have Google search, but you now have that AI overview at the top, which do you tap into that like, is that helpful for you a lot.

00:10:44:15 - 00:10:54:10

Roop

But I kind of more out of curiosity about what is it leading me down. But there's 4 or 5 steps. Usually the fifth one is kind of question. Yeah. So I mean.

00:10:54:12 - 00:11:10:05

Sam

I always read and I'd be interested to hear from you all from a listener standpoint, I always read it, but I always go to the links that I trust. Click through, read like I don't take that as gospel, which that's the tricky part, right? Like it's you talk about the security and and the the data protection.

00:11:10:07 - 00:11:27:07

Roop

As last year, trust is still. Yeah. I will say something Google does well in that search is they give you the sources for their response, kind of right underneath it, the smaller, boxes. So you kind of look right and say, well, this is this is where it got everything that it's giving me the answer for, so I can dig deeper and if I need to verify it.

00:11:27:07 - 00:11:31:02

Roop

So that's good. so it's sticking with Apple.

00:11:31:04 - 00:11:32:17

Sam

Yeah. Yeah.

00:11:32:19 - 00:11:38:02

Roop

they're allegedly apparently adding this also to Siri. So it'll be an update where you can.

00:11:38:04 - 00:11:39:16

Sam

Hear in September next month.

00:11:39:18 - 00:11:54:14

Roop

And it's like, hey Siri, write an email, write a short story. you know, help me create a video script or whatever. Like you have these Siri kind of more to do that. The thing that I think is bananas about this is most people hate Siri, like it's.

00:11:54:16 - 00:11:56:12

Sam

I get angry with Siri.

00:11:56:14 - 00:11:57:15

Roop

Mostly terrible.

00:11:57:16 - 00:12:02:08

Sam

It's never really been a good user experience for a company that specializes on user experience.

00:12:02:10 - 00:12:08:00

Roop

I just ask if they're still all in on it. They didn't just completely kill Siri and relaunch it as a brand new app.

00:12:08:02 - 00:12:11:23

Sam

Which, you know, that'd be genius. It might be ahead of you, might be ahead of the game here.

00:12:12:01 - 00:12:16:09

Roop

But they're saying they're giving Siri AI capabilities, which.

00:12:16:11 - 00:12:27:00

Sam

Well, and I read this really this is a total side note that has to do with Amazon. I read something recently that was you know, Alexa was all the rage and a rave rave rage.

00:12:27:02 - 00:12:29:08

Roop

Rage rage is it rage? Rage.

00:12:29:10 - 00:12:53:14

Sam

All the rage. Yeah. Rave like rave. Hey, excitement. Yeah it's rave. Yeah. And the. And angry. But anyway, people aren't using Alexa for this sense of, like, asking questions, etc., which I mean, Alexa is I, Alexa, set a timer for five minutes. Yeah. And it's this whole thing on. Like, do they continue doing, producing these very expensive timers?

00:12:53:16 - 00:13:00:07

Sam

We have, we have a Google Home and we let it say, hey, set your timer for five minutes. And that's the only thing we use it for. It's really interesting.

00:13:00:09 - 00:13:02:09

Roop

Do you use an alarm clock.

00:13:02:11 - 00:13:03:12

Sam

On my phone?

00:13:03:14 - 00:13:04:15

Roop

Yeah.

00:13:04:17 - 00:13:09:01

Sam

Yeah, totally. If you're in that, if you're in that business, it's insane. So anyway total a total aside there.

00:13:09:01 - 00:13:11:19

Roop

But it gets further into.

00:13:11:20 - 00:13:13:17

Sam

Companies gonna have to reimagine how they.

00:13:13:19 - 00:13:22:16

Roop

Devices like our phones and our computers that were that are either carry with us or in front of us most of the day. Yeah. There's gonna be a lot of stuff to kind of get.

00:13:22:18 - 00:13:23:17

Sam

So let's try Google.

00:13:23:19 - 00:13:45:19

Roop

Google. So Google's had a couple different iterations of, AI in the past year. They had Bard Bard. And there's a. Yep. And part of Google, kind of right out of the gate. And it was basically just GPT. They've since rereleased, a thing called Gemini. Yep. I don't know. Name was Use Gemini and we're still hanging around that GPT.

00:13:46:00 - 00:14:08:03

Roop

I'm bouncing between the two to see what the results are between them. And quite honestly, Gemini is way better. Yeah, it gives really, really, really good, answers on the exact same prompt. The thing I can't do in Gemini yet so I can do a chat. GPT if I can't upload, a PDF or a spreadsheet or an image or anything like that, it's coming.

00:14:08:05 - 00:14:15:08

Roop

But I can't do that yet. so you can chat for that kind of functionality and especially, you know, the whole thing about privacy. Totally open right.

00:14:15:08 - 00:14:37:00

Sam

Now. Well, and you bring up a good point. I like the idea of bouncing through different platforms, and we do this all the time at the agency. We're at a, we're testing new platforms. Chris, Chris should be on this friggin podcast right now. Chris is missed. Yeah, I know, but that's that's okay. but but looking through a look at the source of information that they give you, the just the details, the abilities everyone's enhancing every day.

00:14:37:00 - 00:14:40:18

Sam

But it's a great point, right? Because we're I'm always bouncing through different platforms.

00:14:40:22 - 00:14:53:18

Roop

Yeah. And there's different ones for different needs. And you kind of get used to using one over another. It's it's like streaming services totally have something you're going to want to watch. But I still subscribed to like nine. So wow I think it's like seven for real.

00:14:53:19 - 00:14:57:17

Sam

Oh my god. Rocco would pass out. He actually would.

00:14:57:19 - 00:14:58:22

Roop

Do.

00:14:59:00 - 00:15:00:11

Sam

So.

00:15:00:13 - 00:15:01:13

Roop

Paramount Plus.

00:15:01:15 - 00:15:26:01

Sam

Air is getting smarter is. Yes. Right. It's getting smarter. It's always changing. That's the world that we live in as marketers. How are we, our clients. How are you, listeners using artificial intelligence training? Grasshopper, I'm not going to give the details uses in an absolutely phenomenal way, the way that he propagates some information and data. It's really, really cool.

00:15:26:01 - 00:15:55:18

Sam

He showed me in, Kansas probably about a year ago, and, and then I think about our, our agency. Right. Just like how I'm use it. I use it a ton on the email front. Like, again, we've talked about this in previous episodes, efficiencies I'm always using artificial intelligence to create more efficiencies. In my day. I'm always checking in, I say the time that I'm using it, I'm feeding it very what I would call sophisticated prompts, just in the sense of getting good information.

00:15:55:20 - 00:16:01:07

Sam

Are you using other tech tools, you and Chris, as you're collaborating? I don't want you to give away any secret sauce.

00:16:01:07 - 00:16:10:00

Roop

We do have some secret sources coming up that internally will be great, but we don't really want to share. But I will tell you, some applications, please, last few weeks that are.

00:16:10:02 - 00:16:12:15

Sam

And for our listeners, that might help them in their day to day.

00:16:12:17 - 00:16:30:20

Roop

So on chat GPT in particular, and I think I don't know if it's only a model for an app or if it's available across the board, but I'm not sure I always deal with the top model. I you get a PDF that you might need to somehow put into an email or document, or maybe it has a table on it, like you've got some sort of specs document.

00:16:30:20 - 00:16:50:02

Roop

You download it. Yeah, yeah, but you need to manipulate some way or you need to put it into a spreadsheet or PDFs are pretty flat. You can't really copy the tables in particular. You can't really copy and paste very reliably. I've been using in those situations where I need to translate a table. So you've got eight columns and 500 rows even.

00:16:50:03 - 00:17:00:09

Roop

That's a lot. I'm not typing all that out. I'll dump that into ChatGPT and say, hey, I'll upload the PDF and say, hey, I'm pages three and four. There's a table.

00:17:00:11 - 00:17:01:10

Sam

Here for.

00:17:01:12 - 00:17:10:19

Roop

A CSV file for me to download, or just I can connect it to my Google Sheets and just drop it over my Google sheet. and it's also not set out in the few seconds we've.

00:17:10:19 - 00:17:12:18

Sam

Had something that would historically take you.

00:17:12:19 - 00:17:27:23

Roop

I wouldn't do it. Yeah. Any other options or something other than this PDF? Yeah, yeah. You asked for five. or five. Now I need you to use that in like an email. I could, I might need to present something in a, HTML table in an email. I can drop that PDF and have it kick out the HTML.

00:17:28:02 - 00:17:35:19

Roop

Very clean for me with the styles in line. That's what you need. I jump out into the editor and I move on. That's something else that manually would have taken, you know.

00:17:35:21 - 00:17:38:23

Sam

I mean, yeah, but that adds up throughout the day. 30s. Yeah.

00:17:39:03 - 00:17:59:19

Roop

So like there's always kind of ways you start thinking about things that you don't like. It's the same as it's been the things you don't like to do that are kind of repetitious, that you dread in your daily work life. There's probably an AI solution for it. Even if I isn't going to kick out your final file, the final result, it can guide you and get you to think about how you tackle it in ways that that you may not have yet.

00:17:59:21 - 00:18:00:18

Roop

I'll give you one more.

00:18:00:21 - 00:18:01:11

Sam

Yeah, please.

00:18:01:12 - 00:18:07:09

Roop

I don't know anything about the Python language. Okay. Chris is great at it. I found out he's going to tell you.

00:18:07:09 - 00:18:10:04

Sam

But it's not cheating.

00:18:10:06 - 00:18:17:13

Roop

He's trying. but Python is kind of a conflict most people probably listening to. What is Python? Well, it's a it's a programing language.

00:18:17:15 - 00:18:21:04

Sam

A very sophisticated programing language does things.

00:18:21:04 - 00:18:37:12

Roop

So I asked ChatGPT how I would, run a process about a month or two ago and he couldn't do it. It wouldn't do it for me. But I said, hey, we can write you a Python script to tell you where to put that Python script and how to call it from a terminal. And what's not awesome is that it explains all of it.

00:18:37:14 - 00:18:58:23

Roop

It's about eight steps and it completely worked. I had to reiterate it. Maybe twice and tell him, hey, on this step, this part didn't work and says, oh, I'm sorry, try this instead. I just learned a language that I it's awesome. Yeah, and paste it. But I'm now speaking of language and using the language to implement some functionality on some, some repetitious chores that before again would have taken me several hours.

00:18:59:01 - 00:19:01:05

Roop

Now I got this Python script right.

00:19:01:07 - 00:19:02:19

Sam

Now that's that's amazing.

00:19:02:21 - 00:19:17:00

Roop

If you can just kind of think about it beyond, writing emails or writing papers, which of course it does pretty well. the like things you need to have happen or processes that you do if you're one of those folks is dealing with spreadsheets like, like.

00:19:17:02 - 00:19:19:04

Sam

No, of course, my God.

00:19:19:06 - 00:19:20:22

Roop

There's all kinds of stuff you can do.

00:19:21:00 - 00:19:42:01

Sam

Yeah. And there's, we talk about ChatGPT look into custom GPT. That's something that we've really made strides on in the last six months. let me give you an example. We I write proposals all the time for new business and sometimes a big, shoot, you know, I, I left out this assumption or I left out this key piece is something that really should have been mentioned, you know, before they sign it.

00:19:42:01 - 00:20:02:16

Sam

Okay. Oh, well, hopefully it's going to be okay. Right. Usually is. And, Chris and I were talking. I was like, hey, there's an opportunity. Let's cross-reference our last ten proposals, make sure that X, Y, and Z are in there. Is it all the. It's a checks and balances and it's fantastic. Right. Again, just something that kind of gut checks us because through the hustle and bustle of everything, life gets busy.

00:20:02:16 - 00:20:23:12

Sam

You forget things. Things drop to the wayside, whatever it may be. but I, I would say the overall theme here, Rube, almost called you Chris. Rube is just thinking that Chris should be here. it comes to efficiencies, and I mean it really, our people can do a lot of work and a really decent amount of time.

00:20:23:12 - 00:20:46:14

Sam

That's still really great quality work. Of course, for gut checking ourselves. We're still collaborating as humans. but, God, there's just so many awesome ways for you and your teams to be using it. A few examples here. There's some, reach out, there's some great technology partners that we have that have really leaned into AI. it's not as much as what we do, but it's just there's, there's a social company called coop and clean up.

00:20:46:15 - 00:21:10:14

Sam

I came across these people. actually, I have a call with them, coming soon. This is, magnet recommendation, and it's, evaluate evaluating human sentiment through AI and better engaging people through social media. Fantastic. Right. So, I mean, it's just it is it's there's a lot of really cool things out there. I was at a magnet presentation in Nashville early this year, and it's this, great agency out of new Jersey.

00:21:10:16 - 00:21:33:17

Sam

And they've really leaned in heavily. And they they've evaluated the hundreds of tech partners that have great AI capabilities that, again, are cost effective and that just make it better for you. Mr.. Mrs.. Client. So there's a lot of options out there. overall state of AI. It's going to be interesting here in the next six months. It's interesting to see, how people are using this information again.

00:21:33:17 - 00:21:37:13

Sam

I just I take it with a grain of salt. I'm always back. Check. Fact checking.

00:21:37:13 - 00:21:42:16

Roop

I feel like there's going to be two sides to AI in the next year. Okay.

00:21:42:18 - 00:21:44:17

Sam

Now we're not predicting, but you kind of predicting.

00:21:44:19 - 00:22:05:02

Roop

See it heading that way. there's going to be the business applications that I am going to be a lot more, buttoned up. And I'm going to just say 100% trustworthy, but like, you're smart enough to use the tool and understand what's good and what's bad. We know that now we we bad, but we get better. And I think there's going to be the common man or the personal use of it.

00:22:05:04 - 00:22:12:16

Roop

And heaven help us, that's going to be something that's, I think, like I, you know, the ability to fake voices and images.

00:22:12:19 - 00:22:14:05

Sam

Now, it's it's crazy.

00:22:14:07 - 00:22:18:17

Roop

I think we're trying to do. But that's, that's what the common man, you know, the.

00:22:18:19 - 00:22:21:06

Sam

P people can the bet that that's true.

00:22:21:10 - 00:22:31:09

Roop

So I think there's going to be people who think about AI. It's like, oh, as bad as bad. It's a great work tool. I think the bad part comes from when it's outside work and people are using it for.

00:22:31:11 - 00:22:32:08

Sam

The interesting.

00:22:32:10 - 00:22:32:16

Roop

Thing.

00:22:32:18 - 00:22:44:15

Sam

Yeah. Naughty things. how what a way to end it. if you have thoughts, reach out to us. We we're always. We're always talking about this. What do you and Claudia have every Friday? What do you call it?

00:22:44:15 - 00:22:47:05

Roop

we have, Ruth and Claudia. Learn stuff, talk, learn stuff.

00:22:47:05 - 00:22:49:05

Sam

Time.

00:22:49:05 - 00:23:09:11

Sam

And that is like the literal title of the calendar invite. Sometimes it's the two of them, sometimes Chris is there, and it's literally an opportunity for them to learn. we encourage that here at the agency. We encourage that, you know, to you as a, you whether a client or prospective client, it's just a great, great way to round out the week and think through different ways of using technology partners or just learning stuff on our own.

00:23:09:15 - 00:23:16:09

Sam

So, okay, Roop, thank you very much. Next week is TBD. we will keep you posted on topics.

00:23:16:10 - 00:23:18:06

Roop

You know who he is?

00:23:18:08 - 00:23:26:17

Sam

he totally does. In two weeks. we're gearing up for a month away from inbound in Boston. Super pumped, super super, super pumped. So we're going to give you an inbound

00:23:26:17 - 00:23:35:19

Sam

preview. we're gonna talk about what is next is coming out of that. So stay tuned. It'll be great. Session three sessions are out. I just I just got the app.

00:23:35:19 - 00:23:38:03

Sam

So I got that's my, to do today.

00:23:38:05 - 00:23:38:06

Roop

An.

00:23:38:07 - 00:23:48:20

Sam

Hour. Yeah. Okay. Yeah, that's that's totally fine. as always, thank you for listening. If you're watching, thank you for watching. We will catch you next week. And until then, we'll see you then. yeah.

00:23:48:20 - 00:24:01:03
